Salute to Randy Endsley

Happy EMS Week to all our wonderful EMS Partners. Working with the best!

Today we salute Randy Endsley, RN, CFRN, CEN, LP, CMTE, HALO-Flight's Chief Medical Officer. Randy has worked in healthcare for 29 years as an EMT, Paramedic and RN and has served the Mission of HALO-Flight for 20 of those years. He started as a volunteer firefighter in 1991, and graduated with a nursing degree in 1996. He obtained his Paramedic credentials in 1998 and worked as a ground medic for Robstown EMS for several years. He worked at CHRISTUS Spohn Memorial  for 13 years, followed by nearly 4 years at Shoreline's Neurosurgical Unit.

Randy joined the HALO-Flight team in 1999, and became Chief Flight Nurse in 2003.

Randy says he is blessed to have many fond memories of his service: "too many to mention." And he adds, "every call that I have ever made where I felt that our actions absolutely saved that person's life and without our actions, their family would now be without them are the best. We all know this is not every call, but those calls are the ones that keep us going."

Thanks Randy for all you do to improve care for our patients and South Texans. WE SALUTE YOU!
