HALO-Flight Names Business Development Director - A non-profit helicopter emergency medical service for south Texas.

In HALO-Flight’s thirtieth year of service to South Texans needing air ambulance transportation and treatment to a higher level of care, a new, forward-driving position has been announced: Business Development.

Danado Saltarelli, a veteran Registered Nurse with over three decades of emergency response care, begins his new role making a transition from Flight Nurse to Business Development Director for HALO-Flight this month.

“Danado’s diverse skill sets, his decades of frontline experience coupled with his 11 years of faithful service to HALO-Flight as a Flight Nurse/Medic and Clinical Educator make his an exceptional business development leader for HALO-Flight,” said Tom Klassen, HALO-Flight Executive Director.

Saltarelli’s primary role will be that of client liaison with hospitals, free-standing emergency departments, medical clinics and physicians both in HALO-Flight’s 26 county service area of South Texas, as well as the interfacility transfer destinations for patients needing air ambulance resources including Houston and San Antonio.

  • Certified provider in ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NRP
  • Instructor in TNCC, NRP
  • 20 years in Law Enforcement SWAT Medic

HALO-Flight, Inc., a non-profit air ambulance organization operates bases in Corpus Christi, Alice and Beeville with a Mission to provide medical transport for the critically ill or injured person requiring medical or trauma facilities.
