Travis L. Patterson, a native of Houston, enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve in 1994 while attending Texas A&M University. Upon his graduation in 2000, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant and went on active duty. After completing flight school in 2002, Travis spent the next 15 years flying AH-1W and AH-1Z attack helicopters, deploying overseas five times and serving as both an instructor pilot and an operational test pilot. From 2016 to 2020, he served with Marine Helicopter Squadron One, piloting "Marine One," the presidential helicopter. Travis recently retired from the Marine Corps after spending his final three years in Corpus Christi, Texas, where he flew T-6B and T-44C training aircraft. He and his wife, Satosha, have been married for 22 years and have two children.

Randy Endsley was born in Beeville, Texas, and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. His extensive experience in the medical field began during his service in the U.S. Air Force from 1989 to 1996, where he obtained his EMT Basic certification, gained firefighting experience and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. Continuing his education, Randy earned his Licensed Paramedic certification, an associate degree as a Registered Nurse and later a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. His nursing experience includes 13 years in a trauma center emergency department and four years in an intensive care neurosurgical unit. He holds several additional certifications, including Certified Emergency Nurse, Certified Flight Nurse and Certified Medical Transport Executive. Randy joined HALO-Flight in 1999 and was promoted to Chief Medical Officer in 2002.

Angela Hanley has been a leader in financial and accounting knowledge for over a decade. While her experience spans a range of sectors, she happily transitioned to nonprofit accounting in 2011. Two years later, she joined the HALO-Flight family as Chief Financial Officer, valuing the opportunity to continue working in a sector that drives meaningful progress within the community. Prior to settling in Texas, she lived and worked across the country, including in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Washington D.C., Florida, California and Ohio. Angela graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Accounting and Administration.

Michael became part of the HALO family in 2022. The foundation of his aviation experience stems from his military service in the U.S. Army as Blackhawk Instructor Pilot, having flown tours of duty in both Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Additionally, he served for over a decade as a DoD Contractor providing advanced flight training to both U.S. and foreign military aviators, stateside and abroad. Michael has an MBA in Aviation and a B.S. in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He holds Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument Certificates and is an active Company Check Airman in both the Bell 407 and Bell 429 helicopters. Michael has a passion for aviation, has been devoted to serving his country and is excited about serving our communities.

Jonathan Keech

Director of Safety

Jonathan is a distinguished aviator and leader, bringing a wealth of knowledge from decades in the field. He began his career with 8 years of honorable service in the USMC, followed by 13 years with the U.S. Army as an aviator. Jonathan completed deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, earning the Air Medal with Valor for exceptional bravery and performance. As a Commercial Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor with Instrument Rating, a former U.S. Army Instructor Pilot and Safety Officer, Jonathan brings vast and proven experience to HALO-Flight. Beyond his aviation achievements, he inspired the next generation as a high school mathematics teacher. With an unwavering commitment to advancing safety and delivering life-saving medical transport services, Jonathan joined HALO-Flight as the Director of Safety in 2024. He has a Bachelor of Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Blaine Dodson is a seasoned aviation professional with over three decades of expertise. His aviation career began with the U.S. Army National Guard, where he trained as a Crew Chief on UH-1H helicopters. He later earned his A&P licenses from Lane Community College, specializing in aviation mechanics. Blaine has held several leadership roles throughout his career, including Director of Maintenance at prominent organizations like Lohman Helicopter, before assuming the same role at HALO-Flight. He brings extensive knowledge in helicopter maintenance, personnel management and FAA regulatory compliance to his work as part of HALO-Flight’s team.

Kara Solis was born and raised in Corpus Christi, where she graduated from Mary Carroll High School in 2004 and obtained her CNA certification in 2011. She began her career with HALO-Flight in 2014. In 2018, she earned an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) certification, further advancing her skills in emergency medical services. She holds additional certifications, including Certified Flight Communicator. In 2023, Kara was promoted to DOCC (Dispatch Operations Center Coordinator).

Wendy Greer began her EMS career in 1978 as an Emergency Care Attendant, volunteering with Lagarto Fire Dept./EMS in Live Oak County. She obtained her EMT certification in 1980 and became a Paramedic in 1995. Wendy graduated from Laredo College in 1997 with an Associate Degree in Emergency Medical Services and was among the first Licensed Paramedics in Texas. Throughout her career, she worked for 911 providers, serving as a Field Training Officer, QA Officer and Flight Paramedic. In 1990, she began instructing and later earned her DSHS Advanced Coordinator Certification. Wendy joined the HALO-Flight family in 2011 and serves as Coordinator for HALO-Flight’s EMS Academy. She provides outreach training and education to EMS providers and fire departments within HALO-Flight’s 16-county primary response areas. In 2021, Wendy was honored with the DSHS EMS Educator Award and holds numerous instructor certifications, including ITLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, EMD, ASHI and NAEMSE II. In 2023, she accepted the position of Director of Business Development, focusing on partnerships with EMS providers and hospitals to enhance the use of HALO-Flight’s elite team of professionals for critical patient care and transport.

Liz Gallagher brings 17 years of nonprofit leadership and fundraising experience. Born and raised in Fredericksburg, VA, she moved to the Corpus Christi area in 2007. Here, she began pursuing her passion for nonprofit work, showcasing her strong relationship-building skills and joining HALO-Flight as the Director of Philanthropy in 2023. Liz is a graduate of Leadership Corpus Christi Alumni Class 41 and has been a member of the Rotary Club of Corpus Christi for over five years, where she has been recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow. She also serves on multiple community boards, recently becoming a part of 100 Women of the Coastal Bend. She is continuously dedicating her time to helping others.

Shannon Garcia earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Texas Pan American (now UTRGV) in 2011. With over a decade of experience in sales, management, marketing, social media and administration, Shannon’s expertise has significantly strengthened HALO-Flight’s fundraising efforts. She joined the team in April 2020 as a Donor Relations Assistant and quickly rose through the ranks—advancing to Membership Coordinator in 2023 and HALO-Flight’s Director of Marketing in 2024.
