Covering a vast region that includes 23 counties, our service area is home to over 1 million residents. When emergencies strike across South Texas, HALO-Flight is on standby, ready for life-saving transport within our 24,000 square mile area. From the most remote areas to bustling cities, we will be there.
Our work encompasses not just responding to accidents and injuries, such as automobile collisions and snake bites, but also facilitating urgent physician-to-physician transfers between hospitals. Every day, we play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive the care they deserve, promptly and safely. As we grow, we are committed to expanding our service area to reach even more communities in need.
HALO-Flight’s Corpus Christi base serves as both our maintenance center and administrative headquarters. It houses two helicopters: one for emergency response and another dedicated to supporting our partners at Driscoll Children’s Hospital.
The Corpus Christi Spohn Alice base provides faster response times and immediate capabilities for our most critical patients.
The Corpus Christi Spohn Beeville base is our newest location, extending our reach and offering an essential life-saving option to area residents.
To deliver the fastest and highest quality of care throughout South Texas, HALO-Flight operates bases in Corpus Christi, Alice and Beeville, Texas. Our strategic locations enable us to work seamlessly with regional hospitals, EMS and law enforcement agencies. We also facilitate patient transfers to specialized hospitals outside our region, including San Antonio, Houston and Austin.
