With direct access to hospital helipads, HALO-Flight swiftly delivers patients to expert care, working seamlessly with CHRISTUS Spohn’s medical and trauma specialists for efficient, coordinated treatment. Whether transporting patients to a regional stroke center or a Level II trauma center, this collaboration ensures fast, seamless transitions. Additionally, CHRISTUS Spohn facilitates interfacility transfers from rural areas to Corpus Christi or to advanced care centers in San Antonio, Houston and Austin for specialized treatments not available locally.

Driscoll Children’s Health System

For over 25 years, Driscoll Children’s Hospital and HALO-Flight have partnered to provide an unparalleled level of care for critically ill and injured children in South Texas. HALO-Flight dedicates a helicopter exclusively to the DCH transport team, offering door-to-door emergency service and transport. By supplying the helicopter and pilot, while Driscoll provides the Critical Care Team, this partnership significantly reduces transport times—ensuring children receive the emergency care they need as quickly as possible.
