HALO-Flight becomes first U.S. HEMS operator to implement GPMS HUMS

HALO-Flight, South Texas' nonprofit emergency air ambulance service will be the first Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) in the United States to install the Foresight MX Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) on their newest Bell 407GXi aircraft.

By 2026, HALO-Flight will enhance all fleet to the Bell 407GXi helicopters, incorporating the latest technology, including Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) capability to enhance operational safety. The addition of HUMS further strengthens this modernization effort, delivering real-time aircraft monitoring and predictive maintenance capabilities to keep aircraft mission-ready while streamlining maintenance operations.
