HALO-Flight lifts off with $50K donation from Flint Hills Resources

HALO-Flight received a $50,000 donation Wednesday from Flint Hills Resources, a longtime community partner. 

The donation marks a $20,000 dollar increase from last year's contribution and ensures vital emergency services continue across the region. 

This support helps maintain lifesaving operations throughout the Coastal Bend.

"About 35 percent of our patients on a rolling average are uninsured so these fundraisers, these donations from Flint Hill Resources and our community partners are vital for us to keep the operation going," said HALO-Flight Chief Executive Travis Patterson.

To support the non-profit's efforts there is a golf tournament scheduled for May 5, hosted at the Northshore Country Club.
