HALO-Flight educator and paramedic, Ryan Kelley, hosted a Landing Zone (LZ) class at Bluntzer EMS. First responders in attendance included: Nueces County ESD #4 / Bluntzer Fire, Robstown Fire Department, Mathis Volunteer FIRE Department, Kleberg County Fire & Rescue, and Nueces County E.S.D 3.
Educating community first responders plays an integral role in HALO-Flight's mission. Through these courses participants are informed of the capabilities of our Flight Crew, how to safely set up a LZ, and when to consider launching our lifesaving services.
