HALO-Flight is grateful for the continued support of Bee County leaders who recognize the importance of safe, reliable emergency air medical services for our region.
Recently, the Bee County Commissioners Court approved the purchase of specialized equipment that will allow HALO-Flight’s medical helicopter to be moved safely and efficiently into its hangar at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital–Beeville. The equipment will be funded through the county’s Health Care Fund and represents an important investment in both aircraft protection and personnel safety.
Previously, moving the helicopter into the hangar required a process that posed unnecessary risks to our aircraft and to the dedicated team members assisting on the ground. This new equipment significantly improves that process, helping safeguard a critical lifesaving asset and ensuring HALO-Flight remains mission-ready when our communities need us most.
HALO-Flight serves Bee County and surrounding areas 24/7, providing rapid critical care transport during medical emergencies. Support from local partners like Bee County strengthens our ability to respond quickly, safely, and effectively.
