HALO-Flight plays a crucial role in the chain of survival for critically ill or injured patients, working alongside community first responders, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, nurses, physicians and hospital specialists to ensure the best possible outcomes. To strengthen this vital network across our 23-county region, HALO-Flight offers complimentary education services to EMS, fire departments and law enforcement, focusing on proper landing procedures, safety protocols and life-saving skills. This safety and life-saving training not only protects our partners, crews, patients and aircraft but also improves response times and ultimately saves lives.
The HALO-Flight Education Team provides tailored training solutions, focusing on acute and critical care for pre-hospital crews at all levels.
HALO-Flight first responder courses are approved for Continuing Education Hours through the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) and are accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). The HALO-Flight Education Team provides tailored training solutions, focusing on acute and critical care for pre-hospital crews at all levels.
Whether touching down at unprotected landing zones on highways, fields or clearings in the South Texas brush, safety is always at the forefront. HALO-Flight has developed resources and training programs to assist EMS, public safety agencies, Guardian Ranch Members and hospitals in establishing safe landing zones. When needed, we are available to visit your EMS agency, Fire Department or ranch to provide hands-on training.
