CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The 17th Annual Luther Young Una Caja Dove Shoot, presented by Riviera Telephone Company, was held on Thursday, September 19, benefiting HALO-Flight. The event saw an overwhelming show of support from multiple sponsors, hunting participants, volunteers, and community members, all coming together to make a difference in the South Texas community.
More than 140 guests had the exclusive opportunity to participate in a clay competition and dove hunt, while also enjoying a hearty lunch and dinner. The event also featured a curated selection of silent and live auction items, giving attendees the chance to bid on unique and sought-after items.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of all involved, over $125,000 was raised during the event. This significant amount will have a lasting impact on HALO-Flight's patients, their families, and the entire South Texas community.
The funds raised from the Una Caja Dove Shoot directly support HALO-Flight's operations, enabling the organization to provide superior medical care and transportation to the nearest definitive healthcare facility.
