CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The 17th Annual Luther Young Una Caja Dove Shoot, presented by Riviera Telephone Company, was held on Thursday, September 19, benefiting HALO-Flight. The event saw an overwhelming show of support from multiple sponsors, hunting participants, volunteers, and community members, all coming together to make a difference in the South Texas community.
More than 140 guests had the exclusive opportunity to participate in a clay competition and dove hunt, while also enjoying a hearty lunch and dinner. The event also featured a curated selection of silent and live auction items, giving attendees the chance to bid on unique and sought-after items.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of all involved, over $125,000 was raised during the event. This significant amount will have a lasting impact on HALO-Flight's patients, their families, and the entire South Texas community.
The funds raised from the Una Caja Dove Shoot directly support HALO-Flight's operations, enabling the organization to provide superior medical care and transportation to the nearest definitive healthcare facility. The contributions will be used to train pilots and maintenance technicians, as well as to purchase advanced medical equipment and supplies. This continued support ensures that HALO-Flight can fulfill its mission of saving lives and making a difference in the community.
