South Texas' Nonprofit Air Ambulance
The tournament was scheduled to take place Monday, May 5, 2014 at the NorthShore Country Club in Portland, Texas. This year’s golf tournament event was extremely successful, grossing more than $110,000, with 65 teams participating.
Net proceeds from this event will be applied to the annual expense of maintaining and operating HALO-Flight’s 3 Bell 407 helicopters. These costs make up a large percentage of HALO-Flight’s annual operating budget.
Since its inception in 1987, HALO-Flight has transported over 16,000 critical patients of accidents, heart attacks and strokes, newborns and many more who might not have had a chance to survive otherwise
