CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas- HALO-Flight welcomes Patti Young, Development Director, to their leadership team! She brings over 10 years of fundraising experience and over 20 years of community involvement in the South Texas region.
Ms. Young moved to Kingsville in 1992 where she opened the B Bar B Ranch Inn Bed and Breakfast. As an owner and operator of the B-Bar-B Ranch Inn bed and breakfast, Patti was instrumental in expanding the Kingsville Convention and Visitors Bureau, as well as being the Nature Tourism Chair for the Texas Travel Industry Association. She closed the bed and breakfast after 11 years to study full-time at Texas A&M University – Kingsville, and in 2008 received a Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business.
While a student at Texas A&M Kingsville, Patti was the Special Events Coordinator for the Kingsville Chamber of Commerce. She has also served as a board member for the Kingsville Chamber of Commerce and the Kingsville Convention and Visitors Bureau. Patti became the Executive Director of Wildlife in Focus in 2009 developing their four programs and raising funds to sustain the nonprofit organization. Since then she has worked at Texas A&M University- Kingsville in their development office. Patti is a member of Association of Fundraising Professionals, Corpus Christi Rotary and Kingsville Woman’s Club.
