HALO-FLIGHT CONGRATULATES EMR STUDENTS!

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas- HALO-Flight EMS Academy conducted an Emergency Medical Responder course in Freer, spanning from March to the end of May, 2015.  Freer Volunteer Fire Department was awarded funding through TEEX-TxDOT EMS Education Grant.

The next step for these students will be to take the National Registry exam and become Texas certified Emergency Medical Responders.
The goal for conducting this course in Freer, Texas was to recruit as many volunteers available to train, certify in the communities where they live. To become additional certified personnel that will be used to assist in the endeavors of addressing the staffing needs of the rural ambulance providers in the communities of Freer, Benavides and San Diego.
